The Hummingbird Circle
A small circle helping us grow RubyLou.
An invitation-only group of homeschool families, educators,
and co-op leaders who shape what we build.
RubyLou is built for and with real families. Every lesson plan, every compliance feature, every piece of the weekly rhythm is being shaped by parents who actually teach at home. The Hummingbird Circle makes that permanent.
The Circle is intentionally small. We’re gathering a handful of families whose experience and honesty we trust deeply. Enough voices to see clearly. Few enough to know each one.
Members are advisors, not brand ambassadors. There’s no content to create, no referral link, no required social media posting (though always welcome). Honest feedback is the whole job — and it’s the most valuable thing anyone can give us.
What members receive
RubyLou
Welcome Kit
A RubyLou planner, a handwritten note, and a packet of seeds — something to grow alongside what we’re building together.
Complimentary Bloom Membership
Participating advisors receive Bloom for their family for free for as long as they’re part of the Hummingbird Circle. No strings, no expiration.
First Looks & A
Hand in the Garden
New lessons and features come to the Circle first — before they’re announced. Your eyes are the first ones. Your voice determines our growth.
A direct line
No support tickets, no 1-800 phone line. We want to hear not just when things are going well. The most valuable thing you can share with us is honesty in this partnership. You’ll have our founder’s direct line at every step.
What we ask
A welcome conversation with our founder
Thirty minutes to connect. No pitch, no agenda — just a real conversation about your family, how you teach, your wishlist for RubyLou’s growth.
A short monthly reflection
Each month we share something new and ask what you honestly think. A few sentences is plenty.
Harvest gathering each quarter
An hour virtually — unhurried, warm, a chance to share what’s working and what isn’t.
Honesty & communication above all
If something doesn’t work, we need to hear it. We ask that you share concerns and feedback with us often & directly.
Who we’re looking for
Homeschool families
With children K-12. Whatever your current curriculum or learning philosophy may be. Multi-child warmly welcome.
Homeschool educators
If you teach other people’s children at home — tutors, enrichment teachers, learning specialists — your perspective is one we want close.
Co-op leaders
If you organize learning for families, we’d love your voice in the garden. We’re hopeful to make building and running a co-op more seamless.
Apply to join the circle
Tell us a little about you and your family.
We read every application personally.
