What you notify / file

Notify: Georgia DOE (GaDOE); GaDOE then copies the local school system; Declaration of Intent (online, or printable form via fax/email); Within 30 days of establishing the program; by Sept 1 annually thereafter.

Testing / evaluation

Nationally standardized (norm-referenced) test in consultation w/ a trained person; annual written progress report by the instructor

Instruction hours

Equivalent of 180 days × at least 4.5 hours/day

Required subjects

Reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science ('includes, but is not limited to')
